🚗 GunMafia Update: Garage V2, VIP, Credit Shop & Security
The Garage and VIP have been renewed, the Credit Shop has been improved, and GunMafia now features additional protection for chat, messages, revival and emergency restart.
We've been hard at work on GunMafia over the past few days. Several parts of the game have been renewed, improved or given additional protection.
From a completely renewed Garage and VIP experience to improvements to the Credit Shop, revival system and our protection against abuse: here are the most important changes.
🚗 Garage V2
The Garage has received a major upgrade.
The interface has been redesigned, making the Garage much cleaner and more compact, especially on mobile devices. You can also easily see which cars you have stored in other cities.
Cars will, of course, stay exactly where they belong. If you want to race with a car or perform other local actions, you'll need to be in the correct city yourself.
We've also added several checks behind the scenes to prevent duplicate actions and unintended behaviour.
👑 VIP renewed
VIP has also received a complete refresh.
The VIP page has a new look and is now integrated into the Credits section. Your active VIP status and benefits are clearly displayed, while VIP members are recognisable throughout the game by their golden name and crown.
The current VIP packages are:
30 days — 120 credits
90 days — 320 credits
365 days — 960 credits
VIP is deliberately designed to provide useful benefits without putting regular players at an unfair disadvantage.
💳 Credit Shop improvements
We've made several improvements and added additional checks to the Credit Shop.
Among other things, we've addressed situations where credits could be deducted even though a purchase would no longer provide an additional benefit. The purchase flow on mobile devices has also been improved.
The limit for purchasing SAFE protection has also been aligned across the game. It can now be purchased up to and including the Mobster rank. At higher ranks, the purchase will be refused without deducting any credits.
💀 Death Page V2
Even dying looks a little better these days. 😉
The Death Page has been completely redesigned and now makes your available options much clearer when your character has died.
From there, you can immediately see how to get back into the game.
❤️ Revival & Emergency Restart
The systems surrounding revival and Emergency Restart have been further improved and secured.
After recovering, you now receive temporary protection so that you cannot immediately be attacked again.
Emergency Restart has also received additional improvements and safeguards to prevent abuse and unexpected situations.
🛡️ Better protection for chat and messages
Alongside gameplay improvements, we've continued working on keeping the GunMafia community safe and enjoyable.
Our communication systems now include improved:
word filtering;
advertising and spam detection;
flood protection;
safeguards against abuse.
These systems help us stop unwanted content while allowing normal conversations between players to continue without unnecessary restrictions.
📜 Game rules and moderation
We've also updated our game rules and moderation tools.
Among other improvements, we can now take clearer action against inappropriate player names and require a player to change their name when necessary.
The goal remains simple: clear rules and the same expectations for everyone.
⚙️ Plenty of work behind the scenes
Not every improvement is immediately visible.
We've continued working on the stability, security, mobile experience and technical foundations of GunMafia.
These improvements also prepare the game for further expansions in the future.
And we're far from finished.
